Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. Six data points are all it takes: your gender, birthdate, health status, tobacco history, the coverage amount you want, and the term length. Carriers use these to quote rates. We only request your name, address and full health profile if you proceed to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

The amounts you see are what the carriers quote for the health class you picked. Underwriting by the carrier may confirm that class, move you to a better one, or adjust it. This site makes no guarantee of coverage or any specific rate.

What happens when I click Apply?

You enter your name, the application is built from your selected quote, then shifts to the carriers' secure system. Save and finish it later if needed; you'll sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, licensed in California (0B75129), processes the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

It varies based on the carrier, how much coverage you're seeking, and your answers. Carriers with immediate-issue options may underwrite eligible applicants on the spot. Each quote discloses whether an exam is required, might be required, or isn't needed.

Is a longer term better?

Choose a term that covers the span when your family would suffer financially from your death—years with a mortgage, kids to raise, a business depending on you. Longer terms mean higher monthly payments but lock your rate longer. The quote tool lets you compare 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options in one view.

Does this site sell my information?

No. Your contact information stays off the quote tool entirely, we don't market or share information about you, and we use measurement technology without cookies. The privacy page details what data moves where.
